We went to see the Easter bunny today. Mary Reilly absolutely loved him! No crying no screaming. Can't wait until next year when I will have two babies sitting on the Easter bunny's lap!

I can feed myself!

Mary Reilly has been eating things that I eat. (cheaper than baby food) We like black eyed peas and noodles. Meats are hard but we are working on it. She is a self eating girl! She wont let me feed her anymore. Amazingly she didn't get anything on her dress!

I bought Mary Reilly a new car seat. I have one for my car but was too lazy to switch them out. I have been driving Ladson's truck for three weeks! Why buy toys when a free box will do.

This is what happens when you leave the room for a minute. The girl loves her some Cheerios! I did catch her eating them on the floor when I came back in.

25 week appointment

I promise I wont update every week but I have found out some things. I went for my regular check up. I had some concerns going in and got some answers. I noticed yesterday in the shower I have a lump at the lower end of my stomach (censoring for family). I have had pain at my lower stomach but just kinda blew it off as my ligaments stretching. It kinda freaked me out a bit wondering the what ifs? So I went to the hospital (that's where my doctors office is) and found that I have a hernia! I knew where I got it from (hint hint Mary Reilly) but now I am concerned what's going to happen to me? I have to make a surgical consult tomorrow so more doctors can look at it. (oh what joy) They will determine if I need surgery now or can it wait until after I have Anna Grace. (Oh goodie so after the whole giving birth thing again I have more pain!) I did ask my midwife if I can just leave it along and she said absolutely not. I would look funny in a bathing suit! I will update when I know more.

6 months(24 weeks)

3 more months to go! I went to the doctors yesterday for the first time here. I was sad that my midwife (who I saw all through out my pregnancy with Mary Reilly) has left. I was happy that I am now going to see the midwife who actually delivered Mary Reilly.

Weight gain: 10 pounds

Cravings: The frozen pizza's for $1 at walmart. Of course anything sweet!

House sign/new suit

My realtor put my sign up last Friday. I just had to show it off since the weather was so nice.

Ladson's mom sent Mary Reilly a new bathing suit! It's so cute. Thanks Mrs. Mills we will put this to use this summer. All we need now is a beach!

Our house is finally on the market! I needed a few days to get things put up, planted and cleaned. (It's hard to do when you put something away then Mary Reilly takes it back out)

Mumps Update

Mary Reilly does NOT have the mumps. All I have to say is stupid ER doctors! I took her on Friday to a regular doctor (BTW was the best doctor I have seen since we have lived here) and he said she doesn't have the mumps. We did see an ENT doctor who did an ultrasound just to see if there was a mass but nothing showed up. He did order some blood work. Holding a one year old while someone is trying to draw blood isn't a walk in the park! -The test wont be back for two weeks and will let you know when i do get them back- The doctor said even though she didn't get the MMR shot my antibodies are passed for some time to her since I did get the shot. We followed up on Monday and he looked in her mouth and there is about 6 teeth trying to come in. 6 teeth all at once oh what fun for me. The swelling was a swollen gland from the teeth. This is a far cry from the mumps. It just makes me have no trust and faith in ER doctors.

On a different note: Mary Reilly is now climbing up on the couch. She did it once and thought it was the best thing in the world. I am just worried she will fall off the couch!

12 months

Today marks the 12 months Ladson left. I look at Mary Reilly and I and so much has changed from a year ago today. I lost a few (40 pounds that is) and Mary Reilly has grown so much. Now we only have +/-70 days left in her 15 month deployment.

Mumps?

I put a question mark by the mumps because they don't know what Mary Reilly has. We were at my friends work and she noticed Mary Reilly's right side swollen. I took her right then to the ER. I thought she got bitten by something. I had about five or six doctors look at her. Most of them have never seen mumps. She isn't eating very much except Cheerios. I hope the swelling goes down. It's home bound for us until it does.

Apiphobia

I have Apiphobia. You are probably wondering what is that? I have a fear of bees. It's really bad. I dream that they are swarming around me and stinging me. It's a reoccurring dream that I have at least once a month. I absolutely have a strong Hatred for them! Ever since I came back to Texas I have had a wasp in my house everyday. I have to kill them because if I don't them I stay up all night wondering if they are going to sting me. I can deal with roaches, spiders, anything but bees. Ladson hurry home so I don't have to kill these all by myself.
Sorry for the picture. I just can't get that close to these devil flying things!!!!!!!!

Anna Grace

I haven't posed my ultrasound picture because my parents don't have scanner. Here is her debut! Do you see her hand on her head? Wonder what she is thinking...?

A lot has happened

Much has happened these past few days. It took 2 days of driving getting back to Texas. We had a scare Friday. Mary Reilly was playing and walking around my house Friday after we got home. She then collapsed on her side and wasn't responding to anyone. I called the EMS. It seemed like it took forever for them to get here! When we got to the hospital they said Mary Reilly had a 103 fever. I couldn't understand how it would spike so quickly. The doctors said she had a Febrile seizure. It's common in babies. It's when a fever goes high very fast. We are going to the doctor's tomorrow just to follow up. I hope this NEVER happens to anyone. It's so hard for a parent to see something happen to your child and there wasn't anything you can do.
