Halloween 2010

We did our Trick or Treating tonight. The neighborhood kids all get together and go door to door. After all the kids full their bags we all go to a neighbor's house for a party. On the menu was Pumpkin soup (which I never had and I really liked) and chili. A costume is required. -My picture of my costume will be posted later-

Ladson and I were invited to a destination wedding in the Dominican republic. It's at the Hard Rock hotel in Punta Cana. We will be going in March. The only thing we have to do is get our passports renewed.

A few days in South Carolina

Anna Grace is ready for Halloween! She put these on herself!

My mom treated us to Disney on Ice. All the Disney princesses where there. It had Mary Reilly's attention the whole time. Anna Grace lasted until intermission :( I do have to say I enjoyed it too!

Drawing table

I was at Ikea this past week and bought the kids an art table. I really like the crayon/marker holders. We moved them over so the little Anna Grace hands can't get to them.

I was in Pottery Barn the other day and saw a burlap table cloth. It was around $100. Why would anyone pay that? At my local JoAnn's burlap is $2 a yard! $6 table cloth for the Mills household.
Currently working on a "fall" table scheme. I have no clue where it's going!

Just another day at Target

Here is how the Mills girls shop at Target. Mary Reilly insist on riding on the bottom (which is better than her running all over the store) and Anna Grace climbing out/standing up in the cart.

No jeans mommy

Jeans. I wear them (almost everyday) most of Mary Reilly's friends wear them. I bought Mary Reilly some jeans (her first pair...I am really weird about little girls wearing jeans) on Thursday. She now refuses to wear them. Wouldn't even let me try them on her. She said "take these off of me. I want my dress on." I guess I will save them and maybe she will have a change of heart.

Ok, I am not too picky. I want these for the MR! If I knew how to sew anything but...not very good curtains...I would sew these. We would have them in every color.

Do you ever have days like mine?

The Mills household will not be playing with markers anytime soon. Poor Anna Grace had her "makeup" done by her big sister. I was mad when I saw this but when I saw her cut shirt I about lost it. Mary Reilly decided to cut her shirt while I was cooking dinner. That outfit would have lasted all winter! The cut in the shirt can't be repaired.
No more markers and no more scissors in the Mills house!

It's that time of year

The Lilly Pulitzer warehouse sale is November 19-20 and yes I will be there!

Am I crazy

We ate some oatmeal with apples today and this is what happened to Anna Grace. Something is wrong I just don't know what.
