Cakes in a jar

I made cakes in a jar to send Ladson. They kinda didn't turn out the way I wanted but I think he wouldn't mind. I just hope they taste good.

I had time to make these since Mary Reilly slept most of the day. :-)

Just messing around today.

People told me before I was pregnant that you will like certain types of diapers. I thought they were all the same. I was wrong!!! I will NEVER buy Huggies ever again. It was a complete waist of money. Every time I would put a diaper on her it leaked everywhere. Never again. I will stick to Pampers.

One month

My sweet baby girl is now one month old. I can't believe it's been a month!

The TV

My TV doesn't work.!!! Well, at least the sound doesn't. You turn one channel on and there is sound then on another and not even a peep. It's been a loooong weekend. I have another TV in the bedroom but I don't want to sit in bed all day. I tried to do all the girlie stuff like wiggle the cords in the back, make sure the volume is turned up, make sure nothing is unplugged. I have no idea whats going on so I have called direct TV and they are sending the direct TV man to my rescue... tomorrow. I kinda think it's the surround sound but who knows.

My mom wanted more "cute pictures" so I had to take some more. It's really hard to take them yourself since she doesn't sit up by herself. It would be easier especially at walmart and the grocery store. I do understand now what a single parent feels like.

P.S For the people at the stores, I can't help that my baby is crying. I try to make her stop but sometimes she doesn't want to. I hate the "please make your baby stop crying stare." There is nothing I can do so just deal with it!

OK, I just had to get that off my chest.

Sad day

Ladson deployed to Kuwait today for 15 months. It's going to be hard but Mary Reilly and I will get through this. Thank God I can go home and not have to work this time.

Ladson changed a diaper!!!!!!!! This is probably this first and last diaper he will change but I had to take a picture.

I was fooling around this morning and made this picture. OK, I didn't take this my neighbor did. Thanks Paige!! I am trying to take a good picture for Mary Reilly's birth announcement. I don't think I am getting anywhere.
