Table

I have been looking for a new kitchen table for a long time. I found this one online. They don't ship! It's a reclaimed wood (harvest) table. I want a table that I can use. Not having to worry about scratches or water marks. This is going to drive me crazy trying to find this but one day I will.

Hide and seek

I went to go get my glucose checked this morning. I was talking to Ladson on the computer and this is where I found Mary Reilly. (Notice the drawer is empty) She pulls things out of drawers. I feel that if I didn't go get her then she would be close inside the dresser.

Mary Reilly sat in her stroller for the hour testing. You have to drink this sugar drink and wait. I was taking pictures to amuse her. Thank goodness The price is right was on. She mostly watched that.

Good deal I couldn't pass up

Some things are worth bragging about! I met some friends for lunch at Saffron's Bakery downtown today. --If you haven't been there and live close by try it. They have the best desserts!!--I was early so I decided to go into ludens to see if I could find something for when Ladson got home. I walked in and noticed there was hardly nothing in the store. I didn't think much of it so I left and had lunch. I mentioned at lunch about the store and they told me that they are going out of business. This store has been in Charleston since 1867! We had a pedicure day after lunch but was early so all of us girls went back in to the store. I asked if anything was on sale and the man said "yes everything is 30% off." I looked around and saw this jacket. I bought Ladson one two Christmas' ago which (thanks to the 15 month deployment) he has only worn about 2 times. I was talking to the guy and I bargained this jacket for 50% off. If you don't know about these they are great. They retail for $365. They NEVER go on sale.

On that note: Thank you to my husband for buying me a jacket. You are the bestest.


Now all I need is an oyster roast :) (I don't eat oysters but go for the beer) When I am not pregnant of course :)

Easter egg hunt 2009

We went to an Easter Egg hunt at my parents church on Saturday. It was fun seeing Mary Reilly like picking up eggs. Our only draw back was it took her a little while to get to an egg and the bigger kids would crab it first. Now it's a game we play in the house and she is entertained!
