A change...again

I have been telling everyone Ladson was coming home in March. Not anymore. I just got a call from him. He was suppose to come home the beginning of March and take command of a company. Translation for non military...be in charge of a section of the Army (I guess that's the best way to describe it) He was just informed by his commander (for those non military that means his boss) that they need him for a different job. Oh the military life. Gotta love that. We don't know what or where we are going to end up. Ladson is now suppose to go to Virginia for school but with me being pregnant I don't think that's going to happen. He is suppose to report the end of July in Virginia and moving a 16 months old and a newborn half across country just isn't a good idea. Our plans have changed and who knows when they will be concrete. Probably never. I am not liking this indecisiveness. Why can't people make their minds up and stick with it. Now I feel that I shouldn't tell people what we are going to do because it changes so much. I had hope Ladson was coming home early. If anyone should know I shouldn't get my hopes up. I had a plane ticket to go home but now I have to do some sweet talking and see if I can get my money back..Yeah right. Driving the 17 hour drive is something I really don't want to do right now but I have to. I am sorry for the people I told but right now I don't know where I am having this baby and I don't know where I (we) will be living for the next 2 years.
Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Mary Reilly 11 months old

Happy 11 months old Mary Reilly! I can't believe in one month she will be a year old. Wow has time flown bye. Right now she is sick with a cough (second cold she has ever had) but I hope it wont last. She is walking more than crawling now and says about three to four words including Elmo.

The hang of walking and opening up doors

Mary Reilly is pretty much walking now. Depends on where and how fast she wants to go she walks. My dad plays chase with her around the house. I don't know why but she seems to walk much more at night. It's been hard because one minute she is in the room and the next she is trying to get up the stairs (thank god I have a one story house!)

I put Mary Reilly in the pack n play (more on the pack n play situation down below) in front of the door. She likes to watch Cooper outside. I noticed she was opening and closing the door. (Notice Cooper in the window-he is very confused and wants to come in) I did catch her opening the door not even in the pack n play. Now it has to remain locked.
The pack n play situation:
I refused to put Mary Reilly in a "play pen" until I found it very difficult to do stuff around the house. She is walking everywhere and I can't keep up with her. She hated it! Pretty much cried the entire time she was in there. I have used this as her crib on several occasions and I think she thinks she is going to sleep. My mom told me I needed to get her used to it since the next baby is not far along. I really didn't want to put it up at my parents house since I have "baby stuff" every where. Now she is fine playing in it. It makes me feel better I have a place for her safe when I have to run upstairs or to the bathroom.

This guy didn't get the memo

Apparently this guy didn't check the weather this morning. The high was 32 today and he is in shorts! I am not claiming to be a fashion expert but NO ONE should be wearing shorts in January unless you live in on a tropical island.

Sorry it was so shaky. I was walking into Piggly Wiggly with Mary Reilly (who had three layers of clothing on) and didn't want him to see I was taking a picture of him. Oh just notice the lady in front of him. She is his wife. Notice the capri pants!

Beans and night night

Mary Reilly has a sign to go night night. She does this every time we say "wanna go night night"-Let me make one thing clear-I DO NOT believe in teaching sign language to a baby- It's just my way of thinking. I just think it slows to speech development down. (why talk when you can sign) On that note, we just thought it was cute.

I have a craving for Mexican food. I don't know why but I just want it everyday. Mary Reilly has been loving some re fried beans. She will eat the whole plate! I just have to deal with (you know) the next day. I think we have been living in Texas way too long!
If I can just get the people at the Mexican place to stop putting the plate of hot beans right in front of her. Every time she puts her fingers in the beans and gets burned. Don't they know?

13 week doctors Appointment

I have my 13 week doctors appointment today. I have good news! I am going to have an early ultrasound done next month. With cooperation from the little one, we hope to see what she/he will be. **Mary Reilly didn't cooperate very well and took some moving around in my belly to see her** I guess she was shy. If they can't see then I have to wait until March. Everything looks good. I did have to wait an hour to see the doctor and didn't even see the doctor I came to see. My doctor had to leave to do an emergency c-section.
