Greetings from Fort Lee!

Isn't it so beautiful?! At least it's not lime green (our next door neighbors is)

Plus side the whole house has hard woods (except the kitchen)
The kitchen floor...It always looks dirty to me!

Straight out of the 60's

Take 1

Take 2..much better

The boxes are still piled up. I thought my unpacking would be over by now but I am not even close. I can't unpack when Mary Reilly is sleeping because she takes everything I put away out. When she goes to sleep I can't unpack because all the boxes are upstairs and so is the bedrooms. Everything echoes and the floors crack. I unpack about 4 boxes a day. By the time I unpack all the boxes it will be time to move again.
Our house is straight out of the 60's. We are the last to live in it before the tear it down. I have never lived on post but I do like it. My only complaint it that the air condition doesn't blow upstairs! I am so hot. We have really nice neighbors. Clint and Megan. Clint went to The citadel and Megan went to College of Charleston. Small world. They know alot of people we know. We are so lucky!

Anna Grace
I am really a lucky mom to have good babies! She only wakes up once a night now. I hardly ever hear her cry. Only when she is hungry. Mary Reilly has been a good helper. She gets me a diaper and pacifier. We just have to work on not waking her up when she is sleeping.

Anna Grace's first bath

We finally got to take a bath. Anna Grace did so well. (Mary Reilly screamed bloody murder on her first bath) I am so happy she likes bath time. Mary Reilly is loving being a big sister. She got to "help" me last night. Mostly she just played in the water.

Anna Grace Mills

Mary Reilly still doesn't know what to think of her little sister

This is me waiting. 2 days of waiting!

Sorry it's taken me so long to update my blog. So much has happened this past week. Anna Grace Mills was born on July 9 at 12:53 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 8 oz. The same birth weight as Mary Reilly.
It took along time for her to get here. I went on for an induction on July 7 at 6:30 am hoping to have a baby that day. At my 6:30 pm still no baby just alot on contractions. July 8 same thing no baby and alot of contractions. By this point I was very upset and thought this would never end. Finally that night they decided to start thinning my cervix with a special drug. Lets just say it wasn't pleasant. Also, by this point they had already given me so much fluid my eye balls were floating. Ladson and I did master the IV and monitor plugs. I had to disconnect them every time I went to the bathroom which was every 10 minutes! Anyway, after the second dose of this thinning cervix drug I went to sleep. 9 am on Thursday my Doctor checked me and I was at 4 centimeters. Those past 2 days I was still only 1 cen and her head wasn't low enough to break my water. By 11 or so they checked me again and I was 8 centimeters. (5 mins before Ladson was getting lunch) He had to rush back to the hospital. It went very quick from there.
Things I don't like about hospitals:
Nurses turning on the light every hour to get something or change your IV even at 2 am!
I had this one nurse who was very good and let me sleep. She was the best!

I finally get home Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon Mary Reilly gets sick and has another seizer. Second one in a year. Call 911 and I head down to MUSC. Left my dad and Aunt with a breast fed baby. Thank Goodness we weren't there for that long. Mary Reilly has an appointment to see a neurologist tomorrow at MUSC. Mary Reilly is still sick. She has a stomach bug and wont eat or drink. Ladson and I took her to the doctors today and he said it will pass. Now having to get use to two babies, one being sick, Ladson is moving to Virginia on Friday. I still don't know when I am going.
Anna Grace
She is so much like Mary Reilly. I am nursing her so balancing that and Mary Reilly is a challenge. Plus, she likes to sleep during the day so it's hard to wake her to eat. I have tried everything. I hope this passes so her weight wont go down.
I am not getting sleep. She does have her days and nights mixed up and wants to eat ever hour at night. I am hoping this will change :)
