The oldest Methodist Church in Maryland

If you can't read this it says:
Gunpowder Meeting house
Methodist church
building E5715 Erected in
1773. The oldest surviving structure of
this kind in the area.

We were driving around and saw this old Methodist Church. Too bad it's locked (dang Army!) I did peak in and it's just an empty room.
On this post is alot of old buildings. Most are condemned and can't be torn down. Before I leave I am going to take some pictures of them.

Anna Grace

I thought I need to document this...Anna Grace likes to take the corner of her blanket and rub her face.

You might be from SC if you.....

Eliana, our next door neighbor

I know that it looks a little "red" to have a pool in the front yard but that's how we do it on post....I know better but we really don't have a flat surface in the back yard and the dogs think it's ok to put a hole in the pool. It's been really hot here and our pool on post isn't open yet (the kids are still in school for another week) so this is our only other option!

Peonies

My neighbor moved a few months ago and left her peonies bush behind...I noticed no one got to them yet so I had to cut some. They made my house smell so wonderful! I wish they would bloom all year long!!
-We miss you Kara and Hannah!!!

Lilly sale

Some of the items I purchased at the sale this morning. The bathing suit is a different print and so is the girls shift dress. I did buy the girls matching dresses and some capris that match the dresses. We have family pictures coming up. I had such a fun time shopping and thank you to my husband for not yelling at me (I went..just a tad....over the budget) :) I will surley miss going to the sale twice a year!!

Fort Mchenry

Last Friday we went to Fort Mchenry. Ladson had a 4 day. (in the military if you are off for a holiday and it falls on a weekend you get 4 days off. We were off on Monday so he also gets Friday off too) We thought that most people would be working and kids are still in school. Turns out most of the kids that were in school were at Fort Mchenry on a field trip!
Note to self: Don't wear a dress there again! I thought easy and cool but the wind was so bad. My dress wasn't easy at all!!!
