My trip to the ER

Thursday morning I was opening a yogurt Popsicle (Go yogurt that I freeze) for the kids and stabbed myself with a knife. I didn't think it was all that bad until a few hours later when it wouldn't stop bleeding. Sorry for being gross. My trip to the ER was 3 1/2 hours, 3 stitches, and one tetanus shot.

Lancaster, PA

Last weekend we (the whole family) went to Lancaster, PA for a quick visit to the outlets. Ladson needed some new sunglasses.
Lancaster has a huge population of Amish. You can pick out their houses by the clothes lines. All their clothes look the same. Same mens pants same color. We always see them on the road.

Charm City Cakes

This weekend we were driving around Baltimore and I made Ladson drive past Charm City Cakes. (Charm City Cakes is a show on the Food Network) They do amazing cakes. Their minimun is $1000. I guess they were filming on Saturday because I saw the camera man. You can't go into the bakery or for that matter look inside. They have all the windows blacked out.
I felt kinda stalkerish taking pictures so I only took one.

Creative playground

Last week I took the kids to a park that I found. It was all donated on behalf of a little girl who past away. The pictures don't do it justice. The sand box was a huge hit! I see many more days here since it's getting colder.

Steps!

My steps are finished! My yard on the other hand is to be determined. I called this morning to see what housing's next step and they had no idea my yard looked like this. I just love having my kids play in dirt and nails!

Mommy Mary Reilly

Mary Reilly has been playing mommy. She loves giving her babies bottles. She has been playing pretend a lot lately. Ladson and I hear her upstairs at night talking to her ponies (my little pony.)

If you are a member of Costco, they have these wonderful PJ's for kids. They are made of organic cotton which are very soft.

We hope you have a wonderful Labor Day.

Wear all the white, seersucker, and linen you can this weekend!! You know you can't wear that after Labor Day.

Have fun

More front yard pictures to come!
