12 months

Today marks the 12 months Ladson left. I look at Mary Reilly and I and so much has changed from a year ago today. I lost a few (40 pounds that is) and Mary Reilly has grown so much. Now we only have +/-70 days left in her 15 month deployment.

Mumps?

I put a question mark by the mumps because they don't know what Mary Reilly has. We were at my friends work and she noticed Mary Reilly's right side swollen. I took her right then to the ER. I thought she got bitten by something. I had about five or six doctors look at her. Most of them have never seen mumps. She isn't eating very much except Cheerios. I hope the swelling goes down. It's home bound for us until it does.

Apiphobia

I have Apiphobia. You are probably wondering what is that? I have a fear of bees. It's really bad. I dream that they are swarming around me and stinging me. It's a reoccurring dream that I have at least once a month. I absolutely have a strong Hatred for them! Ever since I came back to Texas I have had a wasp in my house everyday. I have to kill them because if I don't them I stay up all night wondering if they are going to sting me. I can deal with roaches, spiders, anything but bees. Ladson hurry home so I don't have to kill these all by myself.
Sorry for the picture. I just can't get that close to these devil flying things!!!!!!!!

A lot has happened

Much has happened these past few days. It took 2 days of driving getting back to Texas. We had a scare Friday. Mary Reilly was playing and walking around my house Friday after we got home. She then collapsed on her side and wasn't responding to anyone. I called the EMS. It seemed like it took forever for them to get here! When we got to the hospital they said Mary Reilly had a 103 fever. I couldn't understand how it would spike so quickly. The doctors said she had a Febrile seizure. It's common in babies. It's when a fever goes high very fast. We are going to the doctor's tomorrow just to follow up. I hope this NEVER happens to anyone. It's so hard for a parent to see something happen to your child and there wasn't anything you can do.
