Mary Reilly not liking the water.

Mom and I took Mary Reilly to the beach yesterday. It was Mary Reilly's second time. The first time was one year ago. My parents have a beach house down at Edisto Beach and we went down there to check up on things. I might try the whole water thing in a week or so. We had to cut our trip short because I was having contractions. Yes, Contractions! A little too soon for my liking. You forgot what they feel like until you have one! I went to the doctor this morning and everything is fine and they stopped (for now) I have 6 weeks to go.

Mary Reilly and I are at my parents house until Anna Grace is born in July (or earlier.) We had to leave Ladson in Texas. He has to work and clear his job before he comes. He has been gone for 15 months...what's another 4 weeks! He will be here around June 15.

Happy Birthday to me :)

I turned 28 yesterday. Some people may say that's young but if you think about it that's 2 years to 30. That's almost half way to 60. I didn't do much on my birthday. I mostly spent the day with Mary Reilly. We went to dinner at my favorite sushi place. A place where I am going to miss when I move. Birthday's aren't the same when you don't have family to spend it with. This has been the first year I have spent my birthday without family in 5 years. For some reason I am always in Summerville on my birthday. Today I sat on the couch and did absolutely nothing. I never do that unless I am sick. I know I will have a busy 2 days with Ladson coming home. Cleaning and laundry is what I have in my future.

I am leaving Texas for good on May 24! I will have a total of 4 days with Ladson before I leave. I absolutely have to leave that day. If I leave any other day my insurance wont cover me. Then I would have to stay here until I have the baby. Ladson will then join me around June 15 in Summerville.

Way back Wednesday

This was back when my husband had hair (he is going to kill me for that statement.) Since he is coming back very very soon I thought I would do a way back Wednesday. I love you Ladson and Mary Reilly, Anna Grace (in belly) and I can't wait for you to finally come home.

I am sorry but I just had to do this. I was fixing her hair and lost her rubber band. I put hair gel in her hair and this is what it looks like before I put a rubber band in it. You are so cute Miss Mary Reilly!

Preggo Progress week 31

I had my final doctor's appointment here today. I am measuring 32 weeks. I am only at 31 weeks. I guess this means I might have this baby early. (My figures are crossed) Everything is right on schedule. I did mention I bought my ticket home. I had to tell my midwife when I was flying. She told me that I was really cutting it close. If I booked a ticket any later than the 24th that I couldn't go! Apparently I forgot that you can't travel after the 34th week. (This is for Military people only) Our insurance wont cover you no matter what! That was the last day of my 34th week.

Miss Anna Grace, all I ask of you is to stop kicking my ribs. It hurts. I don't mind you kicking any other parts but not my ribs. It makes sitting down very hard.

Other hurts: My back. I get it mostly at night. I am not sleeping real well. It's not that I am uncomfortable. I had a screaming nightmare 2 nights ago. I don't even remember the last time I had one of those if ever. I watched this stupid movie that wasn't scary but I guess it was to me. It was called Little Children. I wake up around 1 am and cant go back to sleep. I thought it might be Millie waking me up so I put her outside but I still wake up. I guess I need my husband here. Yes, that's what I need!

Weight gain: 19 pounds :( I guess gaining 25 pounds my whole pregnancy is out of the question.

Cravings: At this time it's Lucky Charms. I figure it has whole grains.

I still love fruit. Almost any fruit. I am getting disappointed when I buy strawberry's. Every time I get them home they are molded. I check before I buy but if I don't eat them right when I get home I have to throw them away.

Ladson is almost here!

OK, not for another two weeks. Sorry to get your hopes up. I am counting down the days. 15 months is way too long to be gone! I can't reveal the date but it's getting close.

The other day I bought my one way ticket home to Charleston! Yay!!!

Yesterday I finally broke down and bought a kiddie pool. We needed an afternoon activity. Since it was almost 90 degrees and May I bought one. She likes it sometimes and then sometimes she doesn't. I think Millie likes it more.
