3rd post for the day..LENT

I am giving up Sweet tea. I should not drink it at all when I am pregnant so I think this is the right thing to do. It's going to be really really hard.

Doctor's/Texas

I went to the doctor's this morning. Everything was on track. I did have an ultrasound and will post when I get home. The doctor even said I could fly back to SC when Ladson gets back...Yay no driving for me :)

My mom and I are driving to Texas tomorrow. It's going to be long but I really need to go back. I have to sell my house. Anyone wanna house in Texas?

Happy birthday Mary Reilly!!

Mary Reilly turns one today! We made it....I am still thinking by this time next year I will have a 2 year old and a 6 month old and the worst thing is not knowing where we will be. It could possibly be in another country. I really think this year has flown by.

Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

Mary Reilly's first birthday

She liked the cake part better.

He first hot dog. Wasn't very healthy but she loves them. (That's ketchup on her face)
Daddy joined us on web cam. That's Ladson's mom talking to him.

Mary Reilly wasn't a big fan of the birthday hat but after she had cake she didn't even think about it.

Her cake.
Mary Reilly's birthday is February 25 (Wednesday). We had my cousin's wedding the night before so all the family was in town. I decided to do her birthday a few days earlier so everyone can come.
**A special thanks to Ladson's mom. She had Mary Reilly all night so mommy can party. (As much as a pregnant girl can with a husband in Iraq) It was just like a mini vacation but I did miss Mary Reilly in the morning. **

20 weeks

I am not one for posting my belly but since Ladson is away I thought I would. He wanted to see how big I am. I think I am bigger than the picture but away. I can't believe that I am already 20 weeks. I am at my half way point.

New baby stuff

The other day I was in TJ Maxx (my fav store) and I saw a bumper from Baby Gap. Online the bumper is on sale for $60 and I picked it up there for $20! I thought it was rather plain but had some possibilities. Don't you think a monogram on both sides would be even better? I hope the monogramming place can do it. Then I was out looking around West Ashley today and went to GDC. It's a furniture and fabric place for those who aren't from here. I picked out several swatch's for my mom to sew (she is much better than me) if she will. I picked that out to make a bed skirt. The pink polka dot is the matching crib sheet I am going to buy. I did not want to choose the same colors but these are different.
I am going thrifty on the bedding because I have money saved. I am going to see something I absolutely have to have. The crib I am buying when we move to Virginia.
I hope the ultrasound lady was right about this baby being a girl!! I am having another one on Feb 25 just to confirm.

Outside fun

Mary Reilly and I spend an hour outside yesterday. The weather is so nice right now. I have never let her run around (mainly because she just started walking) but I didn't want her to get dirty. Apparently, she likes the dirt. She was picking up every piece of pine straw and pine cone. My parents driveway is really long and is a good place to ride a bike (later on down the road) we just walked all around. She likes playing outside. We will be out everyday if the weather stays nice.
I went to Babies r us yesterday and bought Mary Reilly a popper. I don't know the official name. I didn't think she would like so much. She hasn't gotten the concept of walking and pushing but I think she will get it.

Pink and green

Since I am having another girl I have been looking at bedding. I absolutely love this! I know it will never be since it's $500. It's a http://www.serenaandlily.com/ . For Mary Reilly's room I had everything made. It's so hard to fine the right bedding. I am not into the browns or Winnie the pooh stuff. I guess it's pottery barn for me.

I love pink and green. Is it ok to have the same colors in both babies rooms? Let me know. What other color do you use for a sweet baby girl?

Oh name update (this might change) Anna Grace Mills. We are going to call her Gracie. We have been discussing it for two days now and we can both agree on this one.

A girl!

We are having another girl! I am so happy Mary Reilly will have a sister. I always wanted a sister. I do have ultrasound pictures but my dad's scanner isn't working. I will post them later.

Names are being discussed :-)

private

Apparently there are some people visiting my blog from china and other countries. I set my blog to private for now. If you need me to add you just write me an email.

Got hives? Day 2

Mary Reilly's hives have gotten really bad. She woke up worst than yesterday. I didn't know what to do so I drove her to my parents work so they could see her. I had it with the "doc in the box" (my new favorite saying) I went right over to my doctor who I used to see and made an appointment. I didn't care if my insurance covered it or not. They checked her over and told me it was a reaction to penicillin not milk. -I gave her a glass of milk the same day she broke out- I know she isn't 12 months yet but I just wanted to introduce it. She really liked it by the way. The doctor made me feel better by saying it's not the milk.
I don't feel like I can say the name of this fabulous doctor because he did something unheard of....He didn't charge me for the visit! Not a dime! I guess the "I am pregnant with a 11 month old sick baby with the hives and husband deployed to Iraq" story made him feel sorry for me. I like him so much when I come back in May Mary Reilly will see him.
Side note: I am going to the doctor's tomorrow. I get an ultrasound so hopefully I find out what I am having. I will let you know when I know.

Got hives?

Boy Mary Reilly does. I am sorry about the poor picture quality but it's hard to get her to stand still. I had to take her to the "doc in the box." I am assigned to the Air Force Base here and since they don't have a hospital I have to go there. I am going to tricare tomorrow to reassign her to a normal doctor. Mary Reilly has been on Penicillin for bronchitis. I didn't know that you can get a reaction so far into taking Penicillin. Who knew? Well, now I know. I hope this goes away. I hate taking her out like this. She has hives everywhere. Head to toe!
