Wordless Wednesday

A new home for the MR

Ladson was cleaning out the closet last night and found our dog kennels. Mary Reilly decided it would make a nice home. She has been playing in her "house" nonstop!

Speaking of moving....

I was waiting to post this to see if it would change...It hasn't. This is the lovely housing we will be living in at Aberdeen. Look it has 2 front doors! How nice right? I will now refer this house as the projects. It looks like the projects in Charleston. It was not anything what I wanted. Ladson would live in a box if it was close to work. I guess I am disappointed in this house because when we called the housing office the lady offered us a much nicer house then she took it away! It's not fair but that's army life.

Merry Christmas

Hope your Christmas was wonderful just like ours. Now it's off to packing. Moving January 4th

Last Saturday night Ladson and I went to the annual Silver Ball in Charleston. We had a great time. It was so nice to see everyone. Thanks to Leslie for taking some pictures!

Anna Grace turns 5 months

Last week Anna Grace turned 5 months old. Today I had to buy size 3 diapers (sniff sniff) On Friday we went to the doctors for her well baby check up. She is on target. She is in the 64 percentile in her weight and 53 percentile in her height. I am now "allowed" to give her juice which she loves (Mary Reilly wouldn't take juice in a bottle) and baby food. We are on the green veggies first. She also rolls everywhere! I will leave the room and she is in a totally different place when I return. Anna Grace is also now a tummy sleeper. She is such a happy baby and hardly ever cries.

7 years already?

On November 23 Ladson and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We had our ceremony at St. Michael's Episcopal church and our reception was at the Hibernian.

Last Saturday we went to The Woodlands to celebrate. It's the only 5 star restaurant in South Carolina. We had the 5 course meal with wine.

Baby in a bucket

Has anyone else seen this? I was in Norfolk today and saw this in a store. I have mixed feeling on this. On one hand It just goes against everything I have to put a baby in a bucket. On another it might be easier for the baby to sit up. Hmm...I would save the $45 and just get a regular bucket but if you want more info or want to purchase one click here!

Who is who?

Can you tell who is who? They both were taken at 4 months.

4 months and bouncy chair

I set up the bouncy chair for Anna Grace. Mary Reilly thought it was a "new" toy for her to play with. Since I put the seat close to the floor so Anna Grace can bounce. Mary Reilly practically is sitting on the floor. I can't keep her out of it. When Anna Grace is in the chair Mary Reilly will turn her so she can't play with what she is playing with. -I am thinking it's not going to be the first "fight" for toys-

Happy 4 months old Anna Grace! We went to the doctors yesterday. She has a stomach virus...I will probably be posting Mary Reilly having a stomach virus coming up in the near future. They said it will just have to run it's course. She weighs 15 pounds! I had to look back and see what Mary Reilly weighs and it was about the same.

Aberdeen house hunt take 2

These are the current company grade housing-What we would live in..hmmm....Not what I was having in mind!

These are field grade housing-much better! If you are not in the military you might think these houses are small and old...By my experience of visiting Army installations these are jackpot! The post is turning over to privatize housing...Right now the government owns all the houses and they are "selling" to a private company. It will be final on December 1. They had a little office already set up so Ladson went in to talk to them. They said they are redoing the company grade houses and they might (and I stress the might) let us live in the field grade houses. Yippee for us! Cross your fingers. The third house down is right across from the Chesapeake bay. The second house down is on the golf course.

We drove around a lot more than the last time we were there. We did look to live off post but it wasn't what we call safe.
