Crib

I finally got in my crib (since it was back ordered for months). My wonderful husband put it together for me tonight. I don't have the mattress yet since that is still on back order. I will post the finished product when everything is put together.

This is the fabric I am using for the room.

Pregnancy update

I am now 31 weeks in and only 9 more weeks to go!! I did get my results back from the glucose test and it was high. My midwife said that I needed to go for the big three hour test. I wasn't looking forward to it but on Friday I took a sick day and went. I went to the lab at 8:30 and didn't get out of there until almost 2! I though I could walk around the hospital, get my prescription filled, call people. Oh no you can't leave the waiting room and the wost of it is that my phone didn't get service in there!! How can you sit there for almost four hours without a cell phone. You have to get your blood drawn four times. Once to start then three hours after that. The first blood drawn I go in there and I got the news girl who did not know what she was doing. She couldn't find half the stuff she needed. I thought to myself oh why me. She couldn't get my vein. I have NEVER had someone not get my vein on the first try. I told her that her time was up go get someone who knows what they are doing. I refused to go to her the other three times. So there is sat for four hours. At least the ladies working in there liked the price is right and the food network or I would have really lost my mind.

I don't think my stomach can stretch any more. I just don't see how. I asked my midwife if I can have another ultrasound (since I only get one) and the was a big negative. Oh the joys of military insurance.

My car!!

I just discovered that someone busted out my tail light!! It's like someone got really pissed off at me and took a hammer to it. I don't know where it happened but now I have to pay $165.00 to get it fixed at the Honda place. Now I have to special order the part and then I don't know when I will get my car back.

On Friday night Ladson and I went to the Christmas ball. Aren't we sooo cute :-)

A new light

My husband decided to put up a new light in your entrance way. The old one was this cheap box light that you can find a the dollar store. Let me tell you that he is NOT an electrician! I do have to say he did a great job!!

The Christmas garland does look better at night when the lights are on.

Christmas Party

I had my company's Christmas party last night. Yes, While everyone else was getting DVD players, money, gift cards, I got an oven mitt. Oh well February is just around the corner :-)

Nursery getting started!!

I finally got the nursery color picked out and put up on the wall!!! I have been wanting to get this room painted forever but with some minor deaths, not calling back and no shows, I got it finished. Some people from work did not like the bright color but I told them that it will all come together at the end.
